Common Ring Sizes

Most engagement rings in Australia fall within a fairly small size range, so if you’re unsure where to start, you’re in good company. At Gallagher Jewellers, the most common women’s ring sizes are L, M and N, with Size M being the single most popular.

Petite fingers often fall between J–L, while clients with a slightly broader build typically range from N–P. For men’s wedding bands, the most common sizes are T–V, with U being the size we sell most frequently.

Every hand is unique, but these averages can be a helpful starting point if you’re choosing a ring as a surprise. And remember — we offer complimentary resizing on most designs to ensure the perfect fit.
